What is the toughest cover for the iphone?

I'm about to buy a new iphone but I've heard they break/crack easily if dropped. What case out there would work best to prevent a broken iphone should I drop it?|||I have tried many different covers for the iPhone 3G and there is really only one brand I like to stick by - Agent 18. Not only is it very form fitting to the iPhone, it is also a slick plastic so it it easy to remove from your pockets. (The gel-like covers are absolutely no good at all) When I had the first generation iPhone, I used the Agent 18 covers and found myself going right back to them for the iPhone 3G. |||i do construction work and am VERY hard on phones. The first thing I bought was the Otterbox case. It has a hard palstic case with a screen cover wrapped in a rubber case. Ive dropped it from 10-12 feet and nothings happened......its a good investment but its a lil bulky

How can I save my text messages from my Iphone onto my computer?

I am having a software issue with my Iphone and apple reccomended that I completly restore my iphone as new. So i have synced all my contacts, photos and calenders on to my computer to save them. Is there a program you can use to save all your past text messages to your computer and then put them back onto your iphone?|||Try iPhone Transfer SMS. I've never used it but have heard it works.

How can I restore all of my iphone settings from a backup without restoring the firmware?

I jailbroke my iphone 3g, which was running firmware 3.1, in the process of which I lost all of pictures, contacts, apps, etc. But these are all saved in a backup file. However I think that if i restore the iphone normally it will overwrite the firmware and it won't be jailbroken anymore. Is there any way that I can restore it from backup without restoring the firmware?


Does that make sense?


Thanks very much for any help.|||Hi the backup is not related to the os you are running if you have on itunes the files from the 3.0 and now upgraded to 3.1 simply sync and all the files will be there again.

do yourself a favor and wait for the iphone 5 which should be out in the next couple of months....


but if u really just want the iphone for the game i would suggest it


you should probably get a Samsung galaxy or similar
