How do I safeguard my iphone contacts and applications if I reformated my computer?

Here is my problem. The computer I synced my iphone with has been reformated, therefore my computer now no longer recognizes my iphone and wishes to erase and sync.

My contacts were saved on my computer before it was reformated. I fear that if I let my computer sync, then it will erase all my contacts since my reformated computer no longer carries the past data.

How do I save and restore my contacts and applications without having to do it manually?|||Tansee iPhone Transfer Contact can provide you: - Backup contacts on iPhone memory to a file. - Export two types of file format (Antc file, Text file). - Backup iPhone Contact?s Photos. - Export full screen of iPhone contact?s Photos. - View Contacts in Text file format (.txt) or ANTC file format (.antc) on PC. - Password protection support (ANTC file only). Using Tansee iPhone Transfer Contact all iPhone user can backup the contact and contact's photo to computer. With Tansee iPhone Transfer Contact, you can transfer the iPhone contact to computer as a txt file or a ANTC file. Before the transfer, you can choose to transfer all contacts or a single contact.
