How do you install android on an iphone 4?

I've seen people run the android os on their iphones, but they require an iphone 2 or 3g. Is there a way to install on it an iphone 4?|||Google鈥檚 Android mobile OS is coming soon to iPhone 4. Android can already run on iPhone EDGE (2G), 3G and iPod touch. The ports don鈥檛 work as well as they should do, since iPhone and Android don鈥檛 go along well (power management not optimized, iPhone鈥檚 battery drops to zero within a few hours) but it鈥檚 definitely great if you want to try out the so called open-ness of Android.|||I'm sorry to tell you this, but it's completely impossible to run android on an iPhone. Anyone who has shown you android on an iPhone has been playing a very good trick on you. I tried that on my friend once. I would recommend buying an iPhone 4, though. They're AMAZING.

How much does a iphone plan cost after taxes and everything?

Ok I currently pay my own bill on sprint and when I was shocked at how much extra taxes, insurance and things brought my bill up. I have the $69.99 everything data plan and after taxes and such my bill comes to $89.77.

I would like to know what you people pay for your iPhone plan after taxes and everything. And this is with minimal data, talk, text extra. I plan on getting the minimal everything so that's what I'm looking for

For example if you text a lot, get a plan that has unlimited texts. All iPhone 4 plans at O2 have unlimited texts, so i would advise you to get an iPhone from there.

Alternatively, there is a way to get a sim free iPhone 4 for free. This would be a better option as then you could use the money you save (~拢600) to buy a pay as you go sim card and pay like 5 or 10 pounds a month for the internet.

Right now I am currently on a family plan with 4 people. We share minutes and have unlimited texting for the whole family. I have a razr right now and it cost $10 a month. I noticed that common earphone has two bands on the jack whereas iphone's original earphone has three. I used 3rd party earphone on my iphone 3G and it might have caused some problems with it afterward (broken sounds when playing music). My iPhone screen cracked on the two top corners. Will my warrenty cover it?

I've had several failed attempts at jailbreaking my iPhone and have since restored it through iTunes. Is my warranty voided? And if not will my automatic 1 year warranty cover my cracked screen? |||They wont cover it because it was cracked and it wasn't the cell phone just breaking out of nowhere, The crack will automatically make them know that you have dropped it or somehow by your own fault have broken it. If i were you, i would go and try to argue it anyway and try to get them to give me a new or refurbished one. The price of the bill is completely dependent on which plan you choose. That in turn will determine how much your total will be once you add in unlimited text messaging. Unlimited messaging by itself costs $20. However, many plans have unlimited messaging included in the cost of the plan. The best thing to do would be to go to at%26amp;t's site and look.|||For AT%26amp;T, the unlimited internet and SMS text messaging is 30$. Texting alone is 20$.

There's not an app for iPhone to the best of my knowledge, but that will not prohibit you from using the my-Faves numbers as they are carrier based. You can go to the T-Mobile WEB site add, change, and remove one per calender month.

All phones shipped after 4.1 was released are running 4.1. Since inventory doesn't last long in stores, it's likely that anything in stores now is running 4.1.|||By now most of the iPhone4s come with 4.1 preinstalled, some may still have 4.0.2 but that is also not jailbreakable. I think the chances of you getting an iPhone from the store with 4.0.1 or earlier are slim and none. However a 4.1 jailbreak will be out shortly so it really shouldn't matter either way. Does Apple limit the number of Replacement iPhone that they will replace during the one year warranty?

I purchased a 3GS on the date of release, 6/19/09. I received a new iPhone in December because of cracking of the plastic due to a manafactuer defect. The replacement iPhone is doing the same thing so do u think they will replace it again? It's still within a year.|||Yeah, Apple will defiantly replace it for you. If this is a problem that happened just with normal use, which I am assuming it is, you also shouldn't have to pay because it's still covered under the one year warranty. You can you use this warranty as many times as you need to within that year. I would recommend bringing the iPhone into the Apple retail store that you purchased it from, usually they're quicker about replacing it than if you call Apple support.|||Apple will keep replacing the iPhone, even out of warranty.

When you get a replacement the warranty is extended for another 3 months.

Out of warranty Apple will require a payment to be made, but it is far cheaper than purchasing a new iPhone.

2) The visual voicemail would not work on T-Mobile the way it does with AT%26amp;T

Most features will work exactly the same. The iPhone is a really good phone, but here are the disadvantages.

1) Very expensive

2) High monthly payments with all the internet payments etc.

3) Battery is not replacable

4) It does not have 3G

5) Does not have any external memory. Only internal. So if something happens all your data is gone

6) It does not shoot videos

7) I don't think it has a flash for the camera

8) Has no build in radio

9) And many other deficits

I would not recommend getting it with T-Mobile and I would not recommend switching to AT%26amp;T either. You will see how they will rip you off with your bills.

Wait for phones to come out with T-Mobile. They haven't had new phones really that have come in recently, so they will over the next month. If you need internet maybe you might consider the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. It should also be available in a couple of months but I'm not sure about the carrier.

Smaller phones are the Motorola Rokr E8 that might actually come to T-Mobile real soon. It's like an iPod nano.

So as I said, almost all features would work with T-Mobile, but it's your choice if it's worth it to you.|||the Iphone is very fantastic to own. the last post sited a few lack of features but you dont need them. the face is crystle or glass and hard to damage, go to atnt and try it out for yourself. I had to have one after that first hands on experence.....I love it.

I have two separate Apple accounts now. Will I lose the songs that I've downloaded from iTunes on my new iPhone? Will the old iTunes songs be uploaded onto my iPhone? Is this a wise decision? However I think that if i restore the iphone normally it will overwrite the firmware and it won't be jailbroken anymore. |||You upgraded your baseband. Currently that baseband is not unlockable with ultrasn0w, as you have unfortunately discovered. You should have researched whether or not it was safe to do that, because now your phone is useless to you. There is a method to upgrade to iOS 4.1 without upgrading your baseband, but it's too late now as you can't downgrade your baseband even if you downgrade your firmware.

iOS 4.2 will be released within a matter of days, and an unlock will be released after that.... however, I'm not sure if the unlock is just for those people who have upgraded to 4.2 while preserving their baseband.|||There seems to be a lot of confusion around the iPhone 3G, and how to unlock it. There are tons of websites claiming/misleading that they can unlock the iPhone 3G with a software solution 鈥?they cant! There is no software unlock available yet for the iPhone 3G, anywhere!

|||The biggest and best difference is that the 3G is about twice as fast as the original iPhone. Also, the backing of the 3G is plastic so it doesn't scratch as easily as the brushed metal. Apple has added a new App store to, and I'm pretty sure when you play games on it like Super Monkey Ball the game reacts to the movement of the iPhone. It seems kind of weird that Apple is making it cheaper with the AT%26amp;T two-year contract, but it really isn't. Just look at the iMacs, when the new ones came out they were all in 20 inch screens or bigger, yet the cheapest one was still the same price as the 17 inch old iMac.|||Altho the upfront cost is cheaper the at%26amp;t contract is more expensive at $70 rather than $60 which allows them to recover the initial cut in price over the contract term.

However "Truth be told, the iPhone 3G is a better phone, at least judging from the specs. The added GPS chip and much faster Internet connectivity are worth the extra 40 bucks over two years."

I have the Iphone 4 and was wondering if there was a way for the contact's picture to appear when we were texting.|||The way that i would do it, is to set a picture with the contact in their file in "contacts". Why would you buy a cheap knockoff cell phone? A 3g iPhone can be had new for $99. Best Buy sometimes gives away the refurbished iPhones for free with Reward Zone Coupons and a new contract.

Get a real iPhone.|||my friend had a iphone clone and she imediatly changed back because the keyboard for txting was very small and no im pretty sure u can not have the same applications so i mean u pay for what u get ..iphone may be more but way better than the clone!

Does the iphone internet works exactly like the one on the computer?

I'm planning to buy an iPhone. But before i do that i need to find out if the iphone can view every website just like the one on the computer. Does Safari support all websites including JAVA and flash players. Can i view Youtube and pics and other videos on the Iphone using the interent website? One last thing how long does it take for a page to load?|||iPhone can view most websites. It is probably the best mobile internet device out there simply because you can view the whole webpage and not a "watered down" version. Safari does not support JAVA and flash yet, but it is expected within the next few months. Nothing sure, yet. You cannot view YouTube's website's videos, but you can use the YouTube application on iPhone to view most videos out there on YouTube. Quicktime is basically the only file format that is able to be viewed on the iPhone. Using AT%26amp;T EDGE, loading a page takes a few seconds to minutes to load, depending on the site. Using Wi-Fi is very fast depending on your access point. Although the iPhone lacks flash and JAVA, it is still 100% worth it!|||YouTube is on the iPhone. You can't view like Java and flash things though.. I guess you'd have to download them and I'm not sure if you can. You can see pictures there and any Youtube videos though.

The pages load pretty quick for me, but it depends on your internet connection speed.

Thx|||1. Yes it is the same price. 2. Songs are $ 1.29 a piece, Albums are anywhere from $ 9.99 to $ 19.99. 3. Not for sure. It helps if you type everything out also instead of just abbreviating.|||1. yes the iphone is the same price even if you are on a family plan. The data plan %26amp; texting plan are the same price as if you were on your individual account.

2. songs are usually about $1 from itunes (you can download limewire where you can get songs for free.. but you risk getting a virus and it's illegal). Albums depend on how many songs are in there. They're usually like a dollar less or so than buying all the songs seperate. And games can range anywhere from free to $20. But there are a lot of really fun free games for it.

3. It depends on your router and how strong the signal it gives is. It's just like a laptop.

But I would suggest to wait until July 11th when the new one comes out. I think that within 2-3 weeks after that (maybe less) until there will be an unlocked version on eBay.|||eBay?

|||Actually, there are going to applications you can download to your iPhone, I'm not sure if any of them enable AIM and such, but there are going to be some cool apps if you want to check those out. :D

I have a Samsung t629 that was $99.99, and a 30GB iPod Video that was $248.44. Both cost $348.43 before tax, and I have MUCH more storage than both of the iPhones.|||I am so pumped. Ready to go now. |||Although am not very sure about the whole thing but then I think iPhone is built with a entirely new software platform. Nokia 'n' series phones have Symbian software which is currently supported by many software development companies. iPhone will also have support for such softwares when they will be written in the particular software code recognized by the phone. I hope you understand what I mean to say...|||What the heck is a iPhone?
